PhilHealth 2026 Premium Rate: 5%
For 2026, PhilHealth maintains the 5% premium rate on a member's Monthly Basic Salary (MBS). The total premium is split equally between employee and employer — 2.5% each.
Formula: Effective Salary = min(max(Salary, ₱10,000), ₱100,000). Total Premium = Effective Salary × 5%. Each party pays half.

Special Cases
- Self-employed / Freelancers: Pay full 5% themselves. Minimum monthly premium is ₱500.
- OFWs: Pay full 5% themselves; coverage extends to qualified dependents in the Philippines.
- Kasambahay ≤ ₱5,000 salary: Household employer shoulders the full premium under Batas Kasambahay (RA 10361).
- Voluntary / Non-working spouse: Pay full 5% directly to PhilHealth.
Benefits: Inpatient care, day surgeries, maternity (normal/CS delivery), Z-benefit for catastrophic illness, Konsulta for primary care visits.
